Grand Champion Promontory Sterling was co-bred with my good friend Jane Helminski. "Lucas" was a beautiful dog, owned by Barbara and Jerry Waters. Jerry did a fantastic job presenting Lucas and even took a +4 point major at the very first show Lucas ever attended. Sired by Mary Hanus's beautiful tri boy, AKC CH Winterhaven Special Delivery and out of Promontory Hit the Bid, Lucas was not just another pretty face. We were proud to learn that Lucas's OFA clearances included an "Excellent" rating, something that only about 4% of Cavaliers attain.
